Can you ship around holidays like Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc?

We would love it if holidays could stop falling on Wednesdays. Here's why holiday shipping throws a kink in overnight flower deliveries:
We can't ship the DAY BEFORE a holiday because UPS isn't open to deliver the next day (I know, rude).
We can't ship ON a holiday because everyone's closed (aka drunk).
We can't deliver flowers the DAY AFTER a holiday because no one was there to ship them the day before (aka hungover).
If your wedding falls around Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's, email us in advance so we can figure out logistics.

Since Christmas and New Year’s both fall on a Thursday this year, we must follow a modified delivery schedule for both holiday weeks.

Because farms are closed on weekends, we cannot ship over the weekend for a Monday delivery, which means Tuesday is the only delivery option for all Thursday–Saturday weddings during these weeks.

Christmas Week

If your wedding is on December 24th, 25th, or 26th, or 27th, your flowers can only be delivered on Tuesday, December 22nd.

New Year’s Week

If your wedding is on January 1st or January 2nd, your flowers can only be delivered on Tuesday, December 30th.

This earlier delivery slightly shortens your prep window, and there is no wiggle room for replacements if shipping is delayed since our office will be closed.

SPECIAL CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR'S NOTE: UPS/FedEx are constipated AF during the holidays, so shipments happening Dec 16th-27th have an increased chance of delays. Flower Moxie is not liable for shipping delays. If your flowers get hung up with FedEx or UPS, you will receive them the following day. Even with a delay, your blooms will more than likely be as resilient as a Royal who has just given birth. But there is a chance for a bit more than the typical 5% loss.

Email us your wedding date and location now, and we can determine if there is a safer logistical workaround. We don’t want you stress-eating a cheese box, boo, so we’ll do everything in our power to prepare you with a Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C.
